MEET THE DIRECTORS
Charlie and Mark have been tight friends since their early teens. In 2005 they joined forces to create Team Salamander and have grown it into a reputable business that has flourished - primarily by word-of-mouth recommendations - testament to the calibre of work they produce. Both Mark and Charlie settled in Auckland in 2003 and have young families.
- Team Salamander was established in 2004 by certified builder and licensed building practitioner, Charlie Bailey.
- Charlie and his team have over 25 years experience in home and commercial renovations, as well as: construction of decks; bathroom and kitchen fit-outs; and commercial fit-outs.
- Team Salamander has a reputation for meticulous workmanship and first-rate service.
- Providing excellent results at an affordable rate is paramount.
- At Team Salamander, we pride ourselves on using quality materials and having the right people on our team.
- Every Team Salamander job, big or small, is worked on and overseen by one of the directors (Charlie or Mark) so they can maintain the high level of quality Team Salamander has become known for.
MEET THE DIRECTORS
- Charlie Bailey: Charlie started on the road to perfecting his craft at the age of 16, and 29 years later is still enjoying the pride he feels after finishing a job well-done. Completing his apprenticeship in his home town of Kaitaia, he worked for five years before moving to London where he spent many years working on loft conversions, residential renovations, and shop fit outs.
- Mark Travers: Mark began his apprenticeship in 1994 and has built a strong understanding of his trade since then. Mark brings many skills to the table: his attention to even the smallest of details; and the rapport he builds with clients. Mark's easy-going nature makes him very approachable and easy to work with.
